Ever since I wrote my first program using Visual Basic back in my first year of High School, I fell in love with programming. After that, I have absorbed anything I possibly could related to Software Design and Programming. As a result, I decided to get my degree in software design. I graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University, obtaining a BS in Software Engineering with a focus on Game Design and User Interaction. Another passion of mine happens to be Video Games. Therefore, it just felt natural to extend my love of coding and design into the Video Game industry. I also love learning how people interact with the software they use.
So far, I have had over three years experience in multiple domains within the Software Engineering industry, heavily utilizing C++ as well as numerous scripting languages such as Lua, Python, and Tcl. On my own time, I have studied the Unreal and Unity engines, as well as Microsoft’s XNA game studio.
My goal is to ultimately end up in a Project Lead role within the video game industry.
